...and then I took it to San Francisco. And hot god damn, was it ever fun. I'm a pretty huge fan of the ol' Internet subculture, obviously. I've also got a couple of siblings who know me very well. The result was an awesome box that showed up at my apartment a few days after Christmas — my sister doesn't care much for formalities. To be fair, neither do I. Inside of it was said horsemask, along with the second season of Frisky Dingo on DVD (my brother had gotten me the first season for my birthday, in October).

It's not every day that one gets to enjoy the freedom that comes along with putting on a mask to make yourself look like a horribly terrified horse. For some reason, though, traipsing around Golden Gate Park while wearing a face that's frozen in equine terror is a total blast.

This town has been fucking conquered.

Yeah, it was definitely a great trip. Got to taste that legendary Phil'z Coffee for the first time, and made sure to smoke a bowl in the middle of Golden Gate Park. Might not have gotten to do everything that was on the dream check list we made when we left, but I still managed to get a saddle on San Francisco and ride it off into the sunset. Even landed myself a high-class filly in the process.
